Welcome

I’m Carol, an embodiment teacher, therapist, intuitive healer and initiatory guide.

I am here to help you remember your body is an instrument of heightened awareness, sensual intelligence and creative power.

It is also a direct line to your soul.

Whether it’s through embodiment workshops, somatic practice, womb presence  or one-on-one therapy, the work we do together will bring you into your body so you can connect to all dimensions of yourself - mind, body, heart and soul.  And feel grounded, happier and more centred in yourself.

The most basic, fundamental tool of magic is the body

My Story

My embodiment journey began when I was 25 during a trip to India.

I had been travelling and working in different countries for several years, on the run from the status quo and searching for something. I just couldn’t put my finger on it.

I didn’t realise that the treasure I was seeking was connection to my essence.

And that my body was the doorway.

My travels in India led me to a white-haired astrologer who read my chart.

He told me to stop running.

Your body is closest to the truth of who you are,” he said.  It was essential for me to learn its language, he told me, to find the places of power in my female body, so I could heal.

At the time, I had no idea what he meant. But the seed was planted.

Growing up female in Ireland in the 1970s and ‘80s, I felt unsafe, unseen and disempowered. I didn’t feel I had permission to be in my body, let alone trust it.

By my mid twenties, I was carrying grief, trauma and a deep disconnection from myself.

So the idea of turning towards my body felt anything but appealing.

From Movement to Momentum

But the seed kept stirring. And when I walked into my first movement class in Scotland in 2001, something shifted.

There, I met the first of my movement teachers, and began a slow return back into my body. It was gradual—gentle at times, confronting at others—as I learned to feel again, to listen and to soften.

Embodiment practice taught me to recognise when I was ‘absent’ from myself.  Over time, as I came home to my body as a place of belonging and trust, I developed somatic skills to regulate my nervous system whenever I felt anxious or overwhelmed.

I learned how to settle myself so I could rest deeply when I was tired (something my overactivated system had never been able to do).

My capacity for aliveness and vitality increased and I began to feel stronger in myself, happier, more calm.

Movement made visible the places in me that were longing to be expressed, to receive support and feel my essence. Stillness gave me a place to land, to rest and be restored.

Inspired by the simple joy of moving to build presence, to connect with people and express myself freely, I trained to facilitate spaces for others to do the same, and encourage truthful, visible, creative expression for all.

The power of womb presence

Some years into my teaching  practice, I was drawn to womb embodiment.

When I began working with womb presence and pelvic awareness, the energy awakened something new in me—something ancient, sensual, energising and deeply creative.

It was a kind of magic I hadn’t known I was missing.

I began offering sessions that centred on the wisdom of the womb. Again and again I have witnessed how this energy unlocks creativity and shifts lives—from the inside out.

There are wounds we all carry as a result of the cultural and societal narratives we’ve grown up with, and the personal experiences we’ve been through. Wounds around voice, visibility, power and pleasure. I’ve seen how these narratives — the ones telling us how we ‘‘should’ be, think, feel and behave — diminish and damage us all, irrespective of gender.

But the life force of the womb is stronger than any story or personal history. It is a mighty force of nature, and when we reclaim this part of ourselves, we reconnect with something vital, natural and deeply healing. And it feels liberating and incredibly powerful.

"It is always such an honour and a joy to have Carol here at Studio Feasa, giving her beautiful movement workshops.

She brings such gentle and at the same time, powerful healing medicine through her guidance, paving the way for vital healing and opening new paths to wellness.

Her participants are dedicated to the process and many return time and again to move with this deeply empowering medicine.

"Carol is a visionary guide for these times. An evolutionary artist supporting me and her vibrant community to find steady ground and wings within the chaos.

A woman of deep integrity. Her welcoming and mischievous heart invites and includes every body and all parts of me on the floor.

She weaves magical containers that are held with such deep intention, intuition and wild instinct. I’ve danced with Carol for over two decades now and my life is nourished and elevated by her teaching."

My Work

For over 20 years, I’ve held space for people of all ages, genders and walks of life to reconnect with the innate intelligence of the body - its energy, creative power and knowing

In a world that encourages disconnection and distraction, embodiment brings us back to what matters: presence, truth, intuition, inner strength and life force connection.

I love how movement cultivates change and resources us in our daily lives.  My focus is on creating a kind and supportive space where you can listen inward, soften old patterns, and reclaim a sense of belonging and trust in yourself.

Let your body be your guide. It knows the way home.
